solitary in leaf axils; pedicels short sepals 5, persistent; 5 petals; stamens 10, disc base, base with scale-like glands.
Fruit 5 composed of mericarps, length of each fruit with thorns, 1; with short stiff hairs and tumor-like protrusions on the back.
